John T. Ward is an award winning artist/illustrator with an international clientele. Wards colorful and painterly approach to watercolors have made his images very popular with book and magazine publishers. He has illustrated such children books as Hide and Seek, Beauregard The Cat, and Stick Out Your Tongue. Simon and Shuster, Focus on the Family, Mondo Publishing, School Zone, Augsbourg Press, Schutzumschlog and Einbangestaltung, and Peach Tree Publisher are but a few of the major book publishers using Wards Illustrations.
His magazine illustrations include Family Circle, Sesame Street Parents, Physician Magazine, American Journal of Nursing magazine and Mary Higgins Clark magazine. John T. Ward has been honored by having his work chosen to represent American art by the US State Dept. and hung in an Embassy in Africa. He is a US Coast Guard artist and a member of the Society of Illustrators, Graphic Artist Guild and the Society Par Excellence.
Ward is the winner of many awards including the Excellence in International Marketing Award for Best Packaging and Redesign. The prestigious John Gray Medal. The National Baseball Hall of Fame, Society of Illustrators Museum, The Norman Rockwell Museum, New York State Museum, and the International Museum of Cartoon Art are only a few of the museums which have featured John T. Ward’s paintings. His studio is nestled along the shore on a quiet Adirondack lake from which he gains much inspiration.
